Was check in quick and efficient? n/a
Did you use priority security (if eligible) and if so, was it quick and efficient?

Security was empty (as was US preclearance, thank heavens).

Did you use the Maple Leaf lounge and if so, any feedback in regards to service, food and drinks?

The MLL had a longer queue for entry than security! And the showers weren't available when I entered as they were waiting for the groomer.

As usual my complaint about the YYZ lounges is that they don't check the status of the flights. Once again I left the lounge only to arrive at the gate and find they weren't even ready to start boarding. This makes the lounges *much* less useful than at other airports.

Yes, there was a slight delay and the gate agent provided frequent updates. Priority boarding was very fast and efficient.

Onboard - J cabin:

The crew was excellent. The pilot gave detailed info on the slight delays on departure and expected on-time arrival time.

Was the IFE activated on the ground? No

How was the quality of all the meals?

The mushroom ravioli was kind of unappetizing. I can't say I was happy with it.

The cookies were *great* though.

Did the cabin crew continiously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight?

I can't stress what a contrast the crew were to the crew in my previous post from my prior connecting flight. The SD and FA on this flight were *incredible*. They were warm, friendly, and talkative without being in any way intrusive or pushy. They went out of their way to offer anything helpful and answer any questions.

Honestly I was wondering whether I was being overly negative about the previous flight. I had this feeling they were being cold even though I couldn't identify anything particularly wrong. But when I saw this crew it was suddenly clear what the previous crew was missing. It was a night and day difference.
