Hi all, I recently used a confirmed suite upgrade at the Andaz 5th Ave for a special stay in October. I was confirmed by GP Diamond Line into a Andaz Large Loft? I was under the impression that a confirmed suite upgrade would block me into a room with the word “Suite” in the description? There is clear availability on the website during my dates for a Splash Suite.

Is this a similar practice to the Andaz Wall Street where Diamond Suite Upgrade certificates typically book into an XL King rather than a suite, even though Diamond members are typically upgraded to this room even without the certificate? Any recommendations on the action(s) I should take to have a real suite? A Splash Suite would be absolutely ideal, as this is an important occasion for me and my significant other.
