For faulty AVOD you should get something as Delta did not provide you with something they supposedly advertise (notwithstanding that they are not required to give AVOD, blah blah blah, but it is a DL problem they should take care of). A few months ago my wife and I were in BE from JFK to TXL and we had no AVOD. The FA came around near lannding time and had us full out a form for $200 DL credit to our accounts. We were given a receipt that said that the reward would be posted within two weeks.
We waited a month and nothing happened. I emailed a PDF of the receipts to
[email protected] and was called to say that "they" were no longer using these forms. They were old. I said, OK why where they on the flight and issues. She did not know.
I FedExed the original receipts to her at ATL and the certs were credited to our account.
Just an odd encounter, especially to suggest that it was our fault that old forms were used.
