Are you dodging cars like Frogger while dropping all your stuff and your sandals falling off?

Also, if Lateiner is still reading this thread...where did you buy your chair and umbrella? Was it a pain lugging it back and forth from your room every day? And is the beach nice? (Rocks, seaweed, big or small waves, well kept, teen hangout at night?)
Sorry that I am just getting this. We bought our chairs and umbrella at a CVS store back near the commerical area of Ft. Lauderdale (I don't remember the road). They weren't too expensive at the CVS and was still cheaper than renting them from the hotel. No, it wasn't too far to lug them but it was just me and my spouse and we each took one. It is literally across the street.

The beach was very nice, no rocks and minimal seaweed, and very nice sand. Where the Hilton is located is not a very busy part at night so it wasn't loud or too many teens hanging out.
