sure, but the topic originator is trying to use a 50K asia 1 award. 70K is an outrageous price for HK in Y considering:
-nw and ua are both 60K
-cx using aa miles was 85K in J only several months ago
-the conservative market value of 70k miles is much greater than most HKG-SFO revenue ticket options
-cx Y is extremely tight
