You might do just as well looking in to a ferry from there to HKG ( either Kowloon or HKG island. ) high speed hydrofoils and pretty comfortable. Trains are comfortable also. ABout US $40 RT.

Dont forget that you will use a single entry visa for China when you fly in and it will get fully used when you leave China proper. You will need a multi entry visa to return.

Another thought - for about $185 US you can fly between CAN and HKG> No Chinese visa for CAN transit and no train fare also.

I bet a local HKG TA can do better than that fare also.
