Yeah, the shareholders will make out on the deal. I doubt AirTran's management and board of directors will be flying Southwest when this is all said and done, though.

I doubt it. Southwest has shedded all the non-737 aircraft from all the acquisitions they've made over the years. They've proven that it saves on maintenance costs by flying a (nearly) uniform fleet.
