I think that this would work in theory, but in practice really isn't feasible unless you are very, very close to 1M and if lifetime status is more important than actually using the miles. The house "take" is a whopping 70%! For example, if you transfer 200k miles to HH you get 400k HH points. Transferring back to AA only garners 60k AA points. In other words, you've paid 140k AA points in order to get just 60k closer to that lifetime status.
