Silvers can get upgrades on F-equipped flights to Canada/Mexico/Caribbean/some N. South American destinations.
On BE-equipped flights, Silvers can select preferred seats (exit rows go a long way on long flights). Priority over non-elites on the phone line, which can come in handy in the case of IROPS.
