I have visited Bon Ton for dinner and found it charming. Not luxurious but good food, personal service, nice shop and peaceful locations. Buildings/"huts" where the rooms are, are traditional Malaysian houses. Did not see them inside, but they looked rather basic from the outside.

Far from luxury, but still a good alternative if you want something special.
