Having just returned from my YVR-SEA-DEN-IAD-PVD-IAD-SEA-YVR holiday trip to Rhode Island, Boston and Cape Cod and I have to say that UA and AS/QX have approached kiosks and electronic ticketing differently when it comes to identifying E-Tickets and Kiosk Check-in BPs. Why would there be a need to make AC BPs a flourescent yellow that you can see a mile away? Is it to make us FFs stand out as though we're pariahs taking away jobs from AC employees?
Since AC BPs are some of the wierdest looking in the industry (a subject we've discussed before) you would think that they could simply have added a black ink text identifier in one the corners. AS/QX kiosk BPs make a discrete note such as CHECK DOCS/COLLECT CERT instead of the ugly BPs AC has decided to use. Who thinks of these things at AC?
