Being MCO based I frequently fly both WN and FL. This year it has become obvious that WN is a LCC only when you get your tickets well in advance. Too many times this year I have seen one week out fares on WN over $925 RT (MCO-LAS, MCO-ABQ, etc). That is not a fare for a LCC with no IFE, no Wifi, no Biz Seats, etc..

For those trips I always booked FL or CO, and got a ride upfront for the same amount or just a tad bit more.
