Now I can say that I have been there and done that. The Springhill Suites Harrisburg/Hershey was a perfect combination of clean, large and just enough to heartily recommend it for families doing the Hershey Park thing. We were about 15mins away. The kids really enjoyed it. Many thanks to Sophiegirl for the right suggestion. In addition for families thinking about this site I wanted to add that minutes away is the newest, nicest Regal Theatres. Just beyond that is another movie theatre showing older movies for next to nothing (it is called Colonial theatre I believe and in a mall). A new large mall, Target and plenty of restaurants are also close by. Just remember that the local Giant supermarket sells coupons that takes $11 off of adult admission (there is one on 39 between 81 and Hershey).
