The baggage carousel is a good place - but keep in mind there are two separate baggage areas, one on the shuttle side and one on the main side. There are a lot of non-shuttle mainline flights using the shuttle gates, and most of the main gates are express. The carousel number will hint at what side they're going to be coming out of.
