The Alaska agent I just called told me that they dont give these seats to Delta elites...

Anyways, what is up with this? I thought Medallions were suppossed to be getting this benefit, especially since in the back of Sky Magazine it says we are suppossed to. Am I going to just have to wait until the day of the flight when I get to the gate in ATL to see what happens or what?
We booked tickets on AS yesterday, all in family are PM. We were unable to pick premium seats last night, but apparently a nightly process ran. Today we were able- and the system updated my husband's status as DL elite. Since we are PM, not silver, I cannot comment on whether or not silvers would experience the same. But, based on our experience you should know in 24 hours.

Interstingly, on the AS site, it only shows DL elite status for my husband, who is passenger one. I am going to watch over time and see if this changes (our flights are not until January).

The bigger question is whether AS will be giving upgrades and free bags in January to DL elites. Time will tell. If so, it will be important to get the elite status for myself and daughter updated as well.
