It's the first time I will be flying AS (booked as a DL codeshare) since making FO. I know that only GM+ are elligible for complementary upgrades, but my concern is with getting preferred seating. I couldn't select the preferred seat that delta.com let me request (9D) on the alaska site nor could the phone agent put me into a seat any closer to the front than 19A (I'd much prefer an aisle seat and the last two are 9C/D). The Alaska agent I just called told me that they dont give these seats to Delta elites...

Anyways, what is up with this? I thought Medallions were suppossed to be getting this benefit, especially since in the back of Sky Magazine it says we are suppossed to. Am I going to just have to wait until the day of the flight when I get to the gate in ATL to see what happens or what?
