Thats great to know the new Sheraton Phoenix Downtown has a spectacular reputation but is more expensive.
My concern is just as you state noise
Which can a terrible problem with many of the older Amerisuites.I am surprised Hyatt didn't make any effort to improve noise proofing or require it with the property owners
Was it quiet on the other side of the property? And i sthe location good if one doesnt have a car.I am thinking about renting
I was referring to the Sheraton Crescent about a mile from HPN. I have never had a noise problem on the front side of HPN and always ask for it at check-in because of noise problems in the past. HPN is in a business center kind of area with offices, Crown Plaza hotel. There is a large mall that is about a mile from HPN with a Olive Garden, Sizzler and El Torito's restaurant. As far as a car the hotel has/had a van that would take you within 5 miles of the hotel. There is also a Sheraton Four Points in the parking lot of the mall. I have not stayed there for a while and the rooms are nothing special but they took very good care of me as a Plat.
