Wait...doesn't a situation like this, a DM NOT on the upgrade list but no companion, indicate that Delta's IT has "issues"?
So in this case it would be up to the DM (or other medallion) to LOOK at the GIDS, see they weren't on the upgrade list, and THEN ask the GA why they aren't on the list?
What if they are running late on the connection and do not have time to check the GIDS before boarding starts?
What about all the gate's in Delta's system that do NOT have GIDS?
