With DL looking to
add a STL club, it's hard to imagine AA just ceding the entire city to them - they already showed they want to fight a little bit at least with the promo match this year. Were AA to close its club and DL to add one, it would be game over. The new DL elite check-in counter is now installed also - another major improvement on their end.
I don't see anything AA has done in STL regarding DL or WN as a "fight". I see all of their actions regarding flight reductions as a complete surrender. What I find interesting is that as to WN is was because they are a low cost carrier but as to DL I have yet to figure out there reason for giving STL to them.
