jimrpa, it's never too late for a career change--especially in this day and age--so that could be a way you could find out for yourself, if you aren't going to be at the Atlanta Do next month and participating in this event.

By the way folks, I am 59, but a highly competitive runner and maintain a pretty high level of fitness, and I was pretty tired after working what amounted to half of a normal eight hour shift. The Gate Agent job is both physically and mentally demanding, and I was only doing a fraction of the overall job.
