That aside, they were brought up to the ramp tower. I was taken on a tour of the E concourse a while back and its pretty neat. They have everyone up in the tower from the folks who handle gate allocation, to IROP teams, to gate planners, to the folks who actually give push clearances. This tower is in no way related to the FAA.
