The 777 is much wider than the 767 and UA's domestic six across configuration in first in that airplane is concomitantly much more comfortable than the six across in the DL 763. Whether the DL airplane has an inch or two more pitch than UA is debatable. All I know is that the DL 763s in domestic configuration have for me a claustrophobic feel that even their 757s do not.
Correct on the second point but the discussion above had been switched over to comparisons between the international 763ERs and the competition.
