LHR isnt currently an option. Among the many quirks of Bermuda2 is that SFO/OAK/SJC are considered co-terminals for access to the LON market, but SJC is not an LHR approved market in its current state; while of course SFO is.

SJC can however be converted to an LHR market should AA, as a LONE CARRIER, be able to generate enough traffic to LGW within two years.... same as what BA did to DEN/PHX/SAN.
