So the feeling I'm getting is that this is an old less-than-ideal plane .... although I'm still happy cuz 1st class must be better than coach!!

I agree with the comments on the 767ER's & the BE seats. I think it was NRT to SEA some months ago that I was on one - it was like going back to the early 90's. Very shabby looking indeed. But then again, on the LHR - DTW route, they have a different kind of lie flat seat that isn't too bad. Never seen it on another flight - the seats face forwards (not angled like the 777), but are offset laterally.
