I am flying MIA-DFW-HNL via 908/123 and flight 5 is currently available and leaves earlier. I called AA after checking Galileo and sure enough it was availble but she would give it to me because it was a married pair. I could also tell was also one of the AAgents who didn't want to be there that day if you know what I mean.

What are the right 'words' to get my earlier flight request approved. I usually say please send it over to yield management or something like that? Any suggestions?
