I am flying AA1964 LAX - FLL on Sat. night.
Plane departs LAX 11:40p arr 7:43A

I am currently booked in 9D which is my preferred when flying a 757. Currently AA.COM shows ONLY exit row seats available. I assume therefore that all non-eleite assignable seats have been assigned.

QUESTION- should I upgrade?

If I have a good chance of having 9E open, then upgarde is not worth 5 stickers. Likewise, if there are plenty of empty seats in Y, then upgrade then F also NOT that important. If flight is a sardine can, then F looks much better.

Anyone have any Sat. nite experience on this flight or other comments?
