A320 Pulling Fuses to Fix Entertainment System In-Flight

Was on a UA A320 flight today. The entertainment system did not work too well - video shows but no audio (buzzing sound). First I thought it was just me but it turned out it was the whole plane.

So, 1/3 the way into the 3h15m flight, the pilot came out. He opened the panel above the aisle next to the galley and started pulling out the fuses. I was in row 1 and started having the image that the plane would start going down the moment he pulled a fuse.

I know these airplane systems are super redundant, separate and there is a lot of backups, etc....still, it was a little funny/odd to see the pilot pulling all the fuses. I guess there are probably repairs we don't see all the time occurring in the cockpit.

He could not fix it. I heard him saying something to the FA about see what maintenance says. So, he probably had instructions already before he did this?
