I've been getting customer US satisfaction questionnaires after trips every now and then for the past year or so. Most of the questions are about the flights just taken, but they also ask about satisfaction with MileagePlus.

I've consistently told that MileagePlus is not competitive and lacks the aspirational aspect of loyalty program as they block heavily the 'aspirational awards' and I only use United due to corporate travel policy (& I'm trying to chance that). Which is true -- I was much happier as ExPlat on AA.

I do mention Starblocking every single time they ask anything related. I am stuck with United for now, so hopefully we can influence them on this issue.
