Odd. I was in Shanghai/Suzhou in August during the record heat (40 C for days) and my Accor hotels were quite cool. "The street" was an entirely different experience: the sweatiest weather I've seen anywhere. Walking into the hotel lobby was like walking into paradise.
Singapore and Malaysia are comfy by comparison!
