Around 18 months ago, I got 10K for sending in an email suggesting that BA could update their boards quicker when flights were delayed as i could see from ba.com that my LHR-EDI flight had only just left EDI yet the board said it was only going to be around 30 minutes late in leaving LHR.
I wasn't after compensation, just asking that they update the boards to reflect the latest information available on ba.com.
And my family and I each got 5K for no washbags being available in CW. That was in the summer of 2009.
