Just to ask the obvious (to an Angeleno) question....

Why not Priceline an econo car (which would be cheaper than *any* cab option) and drive yourself?

Then take La Cienga Blvd. North to San Vicente Blvd. North, hang a left at Sunset and the Roxy's two blocks or so.

Is there something magic about public transit that I'm missing?
