I wouldn't put an 8-month-old in a Delta bassinet--they're really only for babies who can't sit up or roll over on their own. Seriously, it's a cardboard box lined with two airplane pillows that attaches to the bulkhead (the four center seats on the flight from MSP to AMS). I prefer the privacy of the window/aisle on the side when there's two and a lap infant.
