I was the OP in the thread linked here. Obervations in this thread are bang on, namely:

- Expedia pinpointer is a POS. Completely useless other than to show you what available seats you WON'T be able to confirm with it!
- Called AC *E, was told ''Can't touch rezo made via Expedia''
- Call AC *E 2nd time, exact seats I wanted were booked without issue AND window requests were sent to LH and AF (also on the itin.)

Expedia is a great starting point but not sure it's any value when you're eady to book flights?
