If you're still looking, I'd check with Copley Inn (in the Back Bay area). We stay there often. It's like a B&B without breakfast. Very reasonable at $165, I think. Website is www.copleyinn.com. They may not have any rooms available, but if you don't need a bigtime hotel, this is great. We have no interest in the place, btw. It was suggested to us years ago by someone who had an extended stay in Boston to be in town for a relative who was at one of the hospitals.
