We go there for work and the scenery and river take a definite back seat to how fast we can get to where we are going and the availability of good food and drink balanced by the hit taken to the bankroll by the rate. The downtown hotels have increased in price dramatically in the last few months and this place is only five minutes further away from our office than they are.

The Sheraton suits us very well since if there is a problem on the Kennedy Bridge (I-65), the old Second Street Bridge is right there and usually is OK.

Aside from that, the people are good and we know what to avoid due to the mechanical failings and other defects inherited from Ramada. Do not take a room adjacent to the elevators (the lovely 03 suites come to mind) since the vibration problems that they cause have not yet been solved by management.

The useful "business kings" (usually 05 rooms) mentioned above by RAPC are across from the elevators and the sounds and vibes do not penetrate into the sleeping areas of those rooms. Of course if you can get the 00 or 01 suites, those are the ones that are most in demand and I believe that they actually sell most of them most of the time and they are frequently not available for Plat upgrades.
