I travel quite a lot in CE short haul.
Benefits for me are:
- the guarantee to be seated in front and so, as travelling with hand baggage only, first out of the airport
- a decent meal well presented (not in a plastic as on Air France...)
- good service (small things as they take your jacket to put it in a cupboard)
- more place (middle seat not occupied, in the 767 middle row or on both sides of Airbus 320 family)

Apart from that, the seats are no better than in Economy but for me its only short haul...
