I'm slightly curious about this in regards to the customs issue and the limits on how much alcohol can be brought back. I had considered bringing a twenty-four can case of Tuborg Julebryg (Christmas brew) from Copenhagen once but decided that it might be more hassle than it was worth.
You can bring back 8.5 litres of beer into Canada, subject to the age restrictions of your province / territory. 24 cans are likely 12 litres, so you may want to reduce your quantity accordingly, or declare it, or say nothing. Back in the good old days, I sometimes brought back an entire flat of cans from Germany in my carry-on luggage (20 cans x 0.5 litres).
