Change fee for this flight is around $180, not a huge deal - travel insurance usually runs around $120 - $160 (if I remember correctly), so we'll have to figure out if it is worthwhile.
Our doctor over here (in PEK) has already said no worries when it comes to flying in Dec/early Jan. Our dr. back home in NJ was a bit more hesitant, but we would rather be back home with the family for the holidays than be here. I would think that the only reason we wouldn't be able to fly to EWR and back to PEK is if she is in labor...and I think we could get a doctor's note on that one in regards to illness. Hopefully it won't come to that, but I figured I would ask.
If the baby drops during the flight (hopefully we will only dirty up 1 BF seat in the process!) will the baby score OP miles for the entire segment or only for the portion of the flight flown?
