Hi,

I was trying to book flights from SFO to ATH on United.com today. The options I selected were flexible dates, max 2 stops, and including Star Alliance flights. After I made up my mind and was ready to make a purchase, I got this message:

We’re sorry, but due to technical issues, the quoted fare for your selected itinerary is not currently available for purchase. To purchase the itinerary you selected, please contact united.com customer support at 1-800-589-5582. Please be advised that fares may be higher than originally quoted.

My travel dates are 10/20 out and 10/27 return. Then I tried different dates and even various origination cities such as LAX-ATH, SEA-ATH and IAD-ATH with above options. I got above error message as long as an Aegean Airlines operated flight between Germany and Athens is in itinerary.

Do you have similar experience?
