Ok ok...more details.

Go to Costcotravel.com and you can find the Hyatt Maui special they have
Pretty much $1600 for 6 nights including car.

- complimentary confirmed double upgrade (partial ocean to deluxe oceanfront)
- $150 resort credit

Since so many people booked under this offer, they ran out of the deluxe oceanfront rooms. People checking in earlier in the day got 'upgraded' to the jr suites which isn't much.

Not sure what they added as the day went on but when I checked in around 5pm, they offered:

$500 resort credit
$140/night resort credit (rack rate difference btwn deluxe ocean front and partial ocean view)

So basically you get $1500 resort credit when thats probably what most paid for the package.
