For those of you who have a little extra time either before or after OzFest & would like to see Kakadu or Katherine Gorge there are a couple of options.
Either a full day tour to one or the other ex DRW but that would be pretty tiring and would probably only suit those who have limited time and may only have one spare day available to do something.
For those who do have a bit more time one suggestion would be:
Day One:
Drive Darwin to Jabiru (about 3 hours) late morning which would get you to Jabiru early afternoon. Do a Yellow Waters Sunset Cruise

Then have two nights at The Croc Hotel Jabiru

Day Two
Do a Lord's Kakadu Adventure Safari one day tour of Arnhemland which will pickup from the hotel.

Day three
Drive from Jabiru to Katherine (about 3 hours) & maybe visit the Katherine Hot Springs

Stay overnight at Knotts Crossing Resort
