Great report, thanks very much! I agree about the coffee, BTW. People must ask for the kind of coffee they want (espresso, cappuccino etc) - if you say "coffee" they generally don't ask and you just get the normal stuff
As you say, LHR T3 is absolutely awful. I dread my LHR bound flights on EVA just because of what's waiting. I have an UK passport but feel ashamed of the queues facing non-EUs - especially considering many have paid huge amounts of money for visas to get to the UK and will pay be paying large amounts of tax on flights as they leave (more from November).
A mainland Chinese friend waited at immigration 1 hr 10mins last week. When she got to the baggage, it had all been "dumped" on the floor so the carousel could be used for the next flight.

As you say, there is the priority track card for PL flyers, which is helpful for non-EUs.
