Is there something I'm missing here?

Aircanada.com also fails when looking for quicker and cheaper routes as well.
I was recently looking for YYC-MSY which AC.com offers via EWR, all code shares via ORD or DEN and even a two stopper via YEG!
Expedia shows the jazz flights to IAH with a code share on CO. These are faster and about $90 cheaper than the AC.com offering.
This seems to be bad for both the passenger and Jazz - why bother?
