If you want miles other than AA, you can go through Alaska (they have a great list of major partners - probably some with all the "alliances"), or Hilton (1 to 1) and then convert at the rewards exchange ratio, taking 1 mypoint down to 1/3 of a mile (at 30Khonors to 10,000 miles-i think that is right??, which still isn't too bad I suppose...)

or the delta award mentioned above through vacationmiles, think this is limited to a US domestic.
