OK, when does US make decisions on fuel diverts? Obviously its less of an issue going west to east, but flying to BRU and AMS means that you will have several divert points over the Atlantic - DUB, SNN, LHR, MAN, etc.

Between Newfoundland and Ireland, there is nothing but open ocean.
