After going through a lot of threads here on FT, I've singled out as The Westin in Langkawi to be the one of the better hotels there within my budget.

I tried searching, but could not find much info on the Berjaya Resort in Langkawi (might be cause this is not an international chain).

I was wondering which would be recommended for a family of 4 adults? (while I love a secluded beach, I'll be in in Langkawi for 3 nights and would leave the strolls on the secluded beach for when I'm with the girlfriend )

I also ask cause I'm getting a discount of 25% on the best available rate and getting the basic room at Berjaya for MYR 345++ and at The Westin for MYR 593 (including service charge but not taxes).

Is it worth the extra money (considering i'm gonna take 2 rooms so its extra money twice) and also, is there a bigger discount on the Westin that I'm missing inspite of looking all over FT??

my dates are flexible between the 12th of Oct to the 17th of Oct.
