This is a joke. Tried to UG at FLL and the GA agaib mentioned fare class. Either Im not flying DL for the rest of the year or Im going to status match to DL so I can get UGs on DL And AS.
I gave up DL status last year thinking that reciprocal upgrades would make it redundant to AS. I was GM for 2009 and I could have maintained FO status easily enough, but decided to put all my miles on AS to get the 50K bonus.
Yeah, you could always status match, but then you have to take the miles on DL in order to use the benefits.
