One of my favorite hotels on the planet is in Downtown Orlando: The Grand Bohemian. I have not had the opportunity to stay there since it became a Marriott (Autograph Collection) property, but they do now have a CL. It's in downtown Orlando, not in the tourist area, so you should be able to get a good rate during the holidays.

The art, furniture and ambiance at the Grand Bohemian is very comfortable Eastern European. The service it top-notch. Downtown Orlando has a little bit of funky, cool vibe.
