You're mistaken!
Retrofit them with new interiors - Yes (11 772s + 1 773 Completed)
Retrofit them with AVOD IFE - No
Only the 744s had their IFE updated to AVOD for all classes back in the early 2000s. The non-AVOD 777s will not be retrofitted with new interiors nor will they be given AVOD since they are on the brink leaving the operational fleet.
Only 18 772/3s with AVOD are still in the old interiors.
