That airport Marriott is a bit depressing... I mean, no more or less than any other airport hotel in the world but I wouldn't want to spend more than one short night there.
We always enjoyed the different MVCI properties when we used to go to Orlando to visit family. We never did amusement parks, but we always saw people there who were visiting them - I think the MVCI's are maybe 20 minutes or so from the various parks... Probably closer to Sea World.
They don't have lounges, but with full kitchens you really don't need a lounge. Right after Christmas (that week) is probably peak season there, but if you can hold off a couple weeks I know there were always pretty good deals between New Year's and the start of Spring Break. 3rd Night Free deals, things like that... We went late January / first of February a couple years in a row...
